World NTD Day 2023 – 30th January  

The  World Health Organization (WHO),  Crown Prince Court (CPC) and numerous Uniting to Combat NTDs partners unified to deliver a campaign for World NTD Day in 2023 and beyond.

The theme this year is to:
Act now.
Act together.
  Invest in neglected tropical diseases.

Roughly 1,700 million – or 1 in 5 – people suffer from a Neglected Tropical Disease (or NTD). This includes diseases like tuberculosis, malaria, dengue, leprosy, parasitic flukes, elephantiasis, and much more.

  Join us for the ️ 1 in 5 Social Media Challenge   ️ – one of our annual events held every 30th of January in honor of World NTD Day.

You can support this campaign to eradicate these tropical diseases by sharing a photo of yourself on social media with the letters ‘N T D’ written across your index finger between the 30th of January until the 3rd of February, 2023!
