SICRES proudly congratulates the Global Antibiotic Research & Development Partnership (GARDP) and its collaborators on the Thai FDA approval of NUZOLVENCE® (zoliflodacin)—a first-in-class oral antibiotic for uncomplicated gonorrhoea, granted just six months after its U.S. FDA authorization.

This achievement marks another important step forward in addressing the growing global challenge of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). We are especially proud that Thailand played a meaningful role in the international Phase III clinical trial, with the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital serving as one of the study sites. Through the dedication of our investigators, research teams, and clinical research professionals, SICRES was honored to support this global collaboration and contribute to the generation of evidence that helped bring this innovative treatment closer to patients worldwide. SICRES ขอร่วมแสดงความยินดีกับ Global Antibiotic Research & Development Partnership (GARDP) และพันธมิตรทุกภาคส่วน ในโอกาสที่ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการอาหารและยา (อย.) ประเทศไทย อนุมัติ NUZOLVENCE® (zoliflodacin) ยาปฏิชีวนะชนิดรับประทานตัวแรกในกลุ่ม (first-in-class) สำหรับรักษาโรคหนองในที่ไม่ซับซ้อน เพียง 6 เดือนหลังจากได้รับการอนุมัติจากสำนักงานคณะกรรมการอาหารและยาสหรัฐอเมริกา (U.S. FDA) นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญของความพยายามระดับโลกในการรับมือกับปัญหาเชื้อดื้อยาต้านจุลชีพ (Antimicrobial Resistance: AMR)

SICRES รู้สึกภาคภูมิใจเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ประเทศไทยได้มีบทบาทสำคัญในการศึกษาวิจัยทางคลินิกระยะที่ 3 (Phase III) ระดับนานาชาติ โดย คณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล เป็นหนึ่งในศูนย์วิจัยที่เข้าร่วมการศึกษา ภายใต้ความทุ่มเทของคณะแพทย์ นักวิจัย ทีมวิจัยทางคลินิก และบุคลากรผู้เชี่ยวชาญทุกภาคส่วน ซึ่ง SICRES รู้สึกเป็นเกียรติที่ได้สนับสนุนความร่วมมือระดับนานาชาติ และมีส่วนร่วมในการสร้างหลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์ที่นำไปสู่การพัฒนาทางเลือกการรักษาใหม่ เพื่อประโยชน์ของผู้ป่วยทั่วโลก
